Senior Driver Training
Brush up your skills, prepare for a DMV drive test and protect your driving independence.

Do You Need to Refresh Your Driving Skills?
Many seniors have their driving privileges revoked when they take a required drive test without some brush-up lessons first. Seniors need to know what the DMV is looking for to pass the drive test. Even after many years of safe driving, rules and regulations can be forgotten—especially those that can affect the test.

If you lose your driving privileges, you will need to attend a hearing and may also have to hire a legal representative. You may be given an S.I.P. (Special Instruction Permit), which in many cases allows you to drive and train with an instructor until you are ready to pass the drive test. If you pass, your license can then be reinstated. There could be a stretch of 3–6 months between revocation and re-licensing.
